Our Story

Cedarwood was founded in 2016 in Manchester to create a new way for brands to work with digital agencies. Having previously experienced a “full-service” agency, we decided to concentrate our offering on what we did best – performance marketing – creating a team of experts in this field who could work closely with our clients to deliver solid digital marketing strategies across SEO, Digital PR & PPC.

We work differently, we don’t use account managers, you speak directly to the experts on your account – it’s more efficient and it allows us to focus on delivering results. Our staff have spent years training within their specialisms and are passionate and honest about the work that they deliver. 

A number of our clients have been with us for over eight years, we’ve grown with them and they with us, we build long-term partnerships because we deliver results in a measurable, waffle-free manner and we are always transparent – we believe this is key to the longevity of our client base.

Anna leads Cedarwood’s Paid Media team, bringing 8 years of experience delivering measurable growth for clients across a wide range of industries and budgets. She specialises in building data-led strategies across Google Ads, Meta, and other paid channels – maximising ROI, scaling lead generation, and driving sustained revenue growth.

Her expertise covers the full Google Ads suite, holding advanced Search, Display, Shopping, and Video qualifications, alongside the Google Analytics Individual Qualification. She’s skilled at translating complex data into actionable insights, optimising performance at every budget level, and aligning paid media strategies with wider business goals.

James is our PPC Analyst and has been with Cedarwood for nearly five years’  delivering data-led performance strategies across both e-commerce and lead generation accounts. 

James writes custom scripts and builds automation workflows that optimise the account, allowing more time for the team to focus on strategy. 

He can also deliver dashboards and data insights ensuring clearer visibility of the metrics that really matter, helping to deliver measurable results, in addition to building effective attribution models and conversion tracking which ensures that we’re fully tracking end to end conversion.

Charlotte has been part of the Paid Media team for nearly two years, managing a diverse portfolio of e-commerce and lead generation accounts. She has developed strong client relationships through clear communication, a focus on strategic growth, and a commitment to delivering measurable results.

Her experience spans multiple sectors, from driving high-quality leads for service-based B2B businesses to optimising e-commerce campaigns for increased sales. In addition to Google Ads, Charlotte also manages Meta campaigns for numerous clients, helping them reach and engage their target audiences across Facebook and Instagram.

Francesca has been in the PR industry for six years, with her starting as an intern at a specialist food and beverage traditional PR agency. Since then, she’s worked in digital PR since 2020, and as a freelancer before joining Cedarwood in 2024. 

Francesca’s favourite part of the role is outreach, from curating tailored media lists to writing press releases, to pressing send on the launch of a brand new campaign.
