About Us

Track Record

Our track record speaks for itself. High client retention, long-term partnerships & client testimonials. We’re proud of the work we do & strong client retention is a cornerstone of our business – we work with clients where we know we can make a difference & aren’t afraid to speak up if we don’t think something will work.

remote marketing team

We like to think of ourselves as our clients’ remote marketing team rather than an external agency. From day one, we’ll collaboratively work with you on your campaigns, bringing a range of skills and expertise from each member of the team in our business.

Account Managers

No account managers, no middle-men. Speak directly to the person that’s working on your project, campaign or brief so that tasks move efficiently. We think it’s the best way to work.

Our story

Cedarwood Digital was founded back in 2016 to simplify the client-agency relationship.

What if instead of working constantly through account managers you were able to liaise directly with the staff undertaking the work on your account, who could work as an extension of your internal marketing team? We created a business that allows for exactly that & in our first five years our client retention rate sits at nearly 100% – proof that the concept has worked.

We know that when you look for a digital marketing agency you want straight-talking expertise. We look after our staff who have an average tenure of 2.5 years – significantly longer than the industry average – and in turn you get access to industry experts who work hard to deliver on your campaigns as well as a friendly face 🙂

Most importantly, you get results. Our client testimonials & retention rate speaks volumes about how we can deliver for our clients & we won’t take work on if we don’t think we can make a difference – this is key to our ethos & driving successful long-term partnerships.

Recognition we've achieved for the great work we do.

The Team

Let our team of PPC and SEO specialists
drive your digital marketing forward.

Amanda Walls

Managing Director

In between travelling to Springsteen concerts & listening to Tom Petty on repeat, Amanda still manages to create world-class strategies, train thousands of SMEs on Google products & deliver consultancy to major multi-national brands.

Anna Simpson

Anna Simpson

Paid Media Manager

Queen of the conversion rate, Anna loves nothing more than turning tight PPC budgets into juicy sales. Anna works closely with Cedarwood’s biggest clients to maximise return on investment, generate leads & drive revenue. She’s also skilled at getting her hands on limited edition trainers.

Marty Hughes

Marty Hughes

Marty uses a data-led approach to craft and lead well-rounded, effective SEO strategies for our clients. When his head isn’t in the SERP’s – or a spreadsheet – it’s usually in a book, at a gig or on the hunt to find the best places to eat in Manchester.

Alex Fisher

Alex Fisher

Senior Digital PR Executive

Alex is a Digital PR whizz who creates captivating content to earn those all-important links. She’s always got her finger on the pulse of emerging outreach techniques and trends, and is a self-proclaimed festival connoisseur.

Emma Stretton

Content Executive

Alliteration expert and self-confessed grammar geek, Emma has a big thing for syntax. Emma writes SEO optimised copy for our clients and creates content for Cedarwood. She can otherwise be found upcycling clothes and furniture badly.

James Kavazy

Junior paid media executive

James is our data-led genius. When he’s not devising tactical PPC strategies and maximising value for his clients, he can be found playing poker or darts (and usually winning).

Amber Charnley

Junior Digital PR Executive

Amber works on the Digital PR Team, assisting with creating exciting, new content that will gain coverage and links for our clients. Amber is our resident bookworm, and when she’s not reading she can be found at a gig or making delicious smoothies.
