The Project

Cash Lady approached us looking to utilise Digital PR to help enhance their overall link profile & improve performance across SEO, in addition to gaining PR exposure for the brand which was aimed at building expertise, authority & trust – all key elements of a successful SEO campaign.

This thought leadership project was built around showcasing the expertise of the brand in combination with helpful information for the target audience. We worked with a number of thought leaders across the business to showcase the brand’s knowledge & expertise, ensuring that we were helping to build key E-E-A-T signals into the website & keeping each of our pieces as closely linked and relevant to the brand as possible. This helped to ensure that we were driving maximum value across the campaign, while also driving some high quality links into the website.

Our Approach

Our initial approach to this campaign was to research & understand the market – this meant looking at what competitors had covered, looking at what was trending and topical & also scanning calendars to see what was upcoming that journalists were likely to cover. Off the back of this we pulled together a combination of direct thought leadership and “newsjacking” ideas which meant we could supply journalists with comments that were relevant to their stories at the time that they needed them, thus improving our chance of coverage.

We worked with the team to create a range of thought leadership pieces covering top tips & advice including analysing exchange rates to see how these had changed over time, looking into how to save money at festivals, highlighting stamps that were going out of service, evaluating new year’s resolutions & looking at how to keep your rental costs low. Each of these ideas garnered some great coverage for the brand across our target market & landed some important links back to the website across top tier domains including the Huffington Post, Express, Liverpool Echo, Manchester Evening News, The Sun & many more.
