Using Trending Free Data To Uncover Hidden Coastal Gems For Lifestyle Insurance
The Project
For this project, Ripe Insurance were looking to improve their overall link profile and authority by attracting relevant, high quality links that helped to showcase the overall expertise of the brand, while also boosting SEO performance and brand awareness/authority.
Our Approach
For our client Insure4Boats, we analysed online search volumes of over 250 coastal towns, cities, villages and resorts and shortlisted the top 15 locations with less than 5,000 monthly searches. These locations were then scored by a range of features including number of local attractions, Blue Flag status, the chance of sun and rain and social media engagements.
The analysis was designed to uncover lesser-known coastal villages which offered a range of fun activities to enjoy either on the coastline or on-shore and then break these down into regional angles to give a great hook for regional outreach in addition to outreach across major national publications, we then broke this data down into an easily digestible table and outreached it with hooks for the top performing regions and the aim of securing a wide range of top tier publications for the brand, in addition to backing this up with an expert comment from the brand itself.
